Friends of the Rogue/Umpqua Divide Wilderness

FRUDW was formed within SURCP Jan. 2007. This Committee is chaired by Lori Depew. Stan Petrowski is the Committee Board liaison.


To provide public access to the wild forests of the Rogue Umpqua divide region of southwestern Oregon.

Mission Statement:

To partner with the Tiller Ranger District to achieve excellence in wilderness and trail stewardship in the Rogue Umpqua Divide Wilderness. To apply for grants to accomplish trail maintenance, wilderness stewardship monitoring ie: visitor use and "Leave No Trace" education, invasive weed treatments, volunteer coordination and training.
